The year 2010 was a big one for The Bastion of Man, especially the later half. The staff went from the occasional post of babelicious goodness to a regular daily update. This dedication to quality trim has brought a service to men across the globe. We would like to thank everyone both regulars and fly-by lurkers who visit The Bastion of Man. You are always welcome. Get ready for a shit-load more hot ass in 2011!

On September 8th, 1971 Brooke Burke was born in Hartford, Connecticut. If you're like me, you celebrate September 8th with as much enthusiasm as you do most holidays. Brooke burst onto the entertainment scene in 1999 as the host of Wild On! on the E! Network. I'm not usually a fan of exclamation points but in the case of Wild On!, it was warranted. From her time on the Entertainment Channel to her recent co-hosting of Dancing with the Stars, Brooke Burke has never failed to disappoint. Happy Birthday, Brooke Burke. It is - without a doubt - a great day.
